Melinda Oster is a Partner at Atchley & Associates, LLP and has been serving clients in public accounting since 2002. She provides tax planning, tax compliance, and business advisory services to corporations, partnerships, individuals, estates and trusts, helping clients navigate complex tax matters and make informed financial decisions.

Melinda earned both her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Master’s Degree in Public Accounting from the University of South Dakota, graduating with honors. Prior to joining Atchley & Associates in 2007, she worked in the tax department at Carver Moquist & O’Connor, a CPA firm in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She also gained valuable industry experience in the Retail Accounting Department at SuperValu, Inc, providing her with a well-rounded perspective on both public accounting and business operations. 

Known for her technical expertise, practical approach, and commitment to client service, Melinda works closely with business owners, families, and organizations to identify tax-saving opportunities, address challenges, and support long-term financial success. Her ability to simplify complex tax issues and provide personalized guidance has made her a trusted advisor to clients across a wide range of industries. 

Outside of the firm, Melinda is dedicated to serving the community. She is a board member of The 100 Club of Central Texas and volunteers with organizations including the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation and the Central Texas Food Bank.
